Television Networks cover the sporting events that get the most attention and draw the most viewers. Every network will have stories on baseball and football because millions of viewers are interested. But sports like lacrosse aren’t covered because there is a limited fan base.
Another reason sporting events aren’t covered is if they are small. TV Networks concentrate on large events like the Olympics instead of small competitions at a local level.
Finally, they only cover interesting stories. If nothing spectacular happened in the game, the networks may not cover it in their broadcast.
